If you want a delicious natural treat, try cherries!
Cherries come in sweet and tart varieties. Both are healthy, though the tart variety contains more antioxidants and vitamins. A great deal of research suggests they help fight insomnia and inflammation which makes them the perfect Fibro fruit.
However, you can’t just eat them all day without taking into account the calories/carbs. Pay attention to the servings and you can incorporate cherries into you diet with ease. So whether you eat fresh or dried, keep in mind the following:
- Fresh cherries can be measured at about one cup per serving, or a little over one serving of carb per cup.
- Dried cherries should be measured according to the packet they come in. All of the serving amounts on these packs vary, so keep that in mind.
