The Journal of Applied Physiology, Nutrition, and Metabolism recently published a study showing that high fructose corn syrup and table sugar fail to produce liver fat outside of the lab. The levels used in this study match those of average everyday consumption among Americans.
A large amount of scientifically backed data already shows that high fructose corn syrup and table sugar are metabolically the same. This study adds to that data.
The study was conducted by James Rippe, MD, Founder and Director of the Rippe Lifestyle Institute and Professor of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Central Florida.
