Nordic Diet Lowers Cholesterol

In a Lund University study showing that the Nordic diet lowers cholesterol, a healthy Nordic diet diet consists of:

  • berries
  • cabbage
  • legumes
  • nuts
  • root vegetables

Game, poultry and fish are part of the diet, too, along with low-fat dairy products, rapeseed oil, and whole grains. The group had no rules about red meat or white bread.
