A new report claims that happiness and mental health are higher in people who eat seven servings of fruits and vegetables a day than those who don’t.
The study consists of economists and public health researchers at the University of Warwick studying the eating habits of 80,000 people living in Britain. Dartmouth College in the United States worked in conjunction with Warwick.
Seven-a -day contradicts the five-a-day that most Western governments recommend. Their guidelines are set to protect against cardiovascular disease and cancer.
