The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute encourages patients who need help controlling their hypertension to follow the DASH Diet.

Dash means Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension

This diet helps not only those with hypertension, but offers a good way of eating for everyone via its focus on portion control, fruits, veggies, grains and other healthy foods. Hypertension and healthy diets are definitely big concerns in the fibromyalgia community.
