Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) and fibromyalgia are often connected.
Patients that suffer from the pain of CFS describe it as a deep muscle and joint pain.
CFS patients also suffer from a lack a sleep.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention offers the following tips to help reduce these symptoms:
- Take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain relief.
- Do gentle stretching.
- Consult a pain management specialist, if possible.
- Use gentle massage, heat therapy and relaxation techniques.
Pain does come from tension, and that’s why many of the tips focus on pleasurable aspects of treatment.
