Easing Fibro Pain with Marijuana Not Recommended

One in ten fibromyalgia patients use marijuana to ease their symptoms according to Dr. Mary-Ann Fitzcharles, professor of medicine at McGill University and consulting rheumatologist at the Montreal General Hospital of the McGill University Health Centre in Montreal.

Dr. Fitzgerald and her colleagues conducted the study to see how marijuana affected chronic pain conditions. Though it might provide a small measure of relief, it is not recommended for use for several reasons.
