Fibro Daily

The National Headache Foundation

Fibro Daily April 22, 2013

If you are a Fibromyalgia patient who suffers from the comorbid condition of migraines—like this week’s Fibro Warrior of the Week Jamie Sanders-–then one resource to add to your list is the The National Headache Foundation (NHF). According to their website, the NHF:

“… accomplishes its mission by providing educational and informational resources, supporting headache research, and advocating for the understanding of headache as a legitimate neurobiological disease.”

Migraine headache sufferers know first hand what it means to have their condition swept to the side by society and the medical community as something, “not serious”.
When the conditions of migraines and Fibromyalgia coexist in one person, the stress proves overwhelming at times.

However, support for all such chronic pain conditions is getting stronger everyday. That’s because of the efforts of chronic pain patients—like our Fibro Warriors of the Week and you. So keep spreading the word… Keep talking and sharing for a cure.
