Better Developmental Screening Urged for Hispanic Children

A new study reveals that Hispanic children with developmental delays are often under diagnosed. Furthermore, both Hispanic and non-Hispanic children with developmental delays really suffer from autism.

The under diagnosis of developmental delays in Hispanic children comes from a lack of awareness in the community, says the public health sciences department at the University of California, Davis.

Autism and developmetal delays differ.
