Celexa and Paxil, Prozac, and Zoloft are popular antidepressants that have been linked to an increase in brain hemorrhaging, according to a new study.
However, researchers stress that despite the increase, the risk remains small.
SSRIs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) were the subject of the study. These drugs are very widely used. Stomach bleeding has been linked to them before, but brain hemorrhaging studies continually produce conflicting results.
