FibroAction team has announced the addition of two new key members to its team.
According to the FibroAction site,
Catherine Hodgson has been appointed as Operations Director of FibroAction. As Operations Director, Catherine is a member of the Board of Trustees/Directors of FibroAction and has responsibility for much of the day-to-day running of the charity.
Catherine has considerable experience across the private, voluntary and public sectors including roles with the NSPCC and in NHS management. She has previously served as a Trustee, a Company Secretary and is currently a school governor. She has three children and lives in West Sussex.
Emma Jefferies has joined the team as Administrator. Part of her role will include responding to many of the enquiries sent to FibroAction.
Emma has a background in nursing, having qualified as a Staff Nurse in 2003. After being diagnosed with Fibro herself in 2006, Emma set up the Andover Fibromyalgia & M.E support group and has been active in promoting awareness of Fibro.
FibroAction is a charity operating out of the UK that we should all consider part of our fibro network. They bring fibro awareness to the UK as well as make information about the disease up-to-date and easily accessible.
Their site is available to read in the U.S., as you will see by clicking the links above. In my opinion, it’s great to have valuable fibro resources the world over as not all parts of the world will be conducting the same research and surveys. So you can learn more by expanding your information sources.
