Hand Washing Reminder Annoys Hospital Staff

Perhaps it seems condescending to them in addition to having legal ramifications but for whatever reason, doctors and nurses don’t like it when hospital patients ask if they’ve washed their hands before they began an exam or treatment.

Encouragement of this practice has been going on for some years now, especially with the rise of hospital infections and “superbugs”.

For people who suffer from chronic conditions, hand washing is especially important.
