Happy Halloween to all those with fibromyalgia, or affected by it through friends and family.
Fibromyalgia is scary, though not fun like Halloween. However, learning more about the disease will help everyone cope with it, and put fears about it to rest.
Face monsters head on, whether they are begging for candy at the door or coursing through the very fibers of your being.
And this year, resolve to have some fun on Halloween—dare I say, make a blood pack in honor of the holiday? However you do it, don’t let the fear of feeling bad prevent the fun. Order some scary movies and invite over some friends. Go out for drinks. Eat some tasty food and forget about how fibromyalgia makes you feel via chills and thrills.
If you know someone with fibromyalgia, include them in your spooky fun this year.
And remember, candy is good, but keep garlic around, too.
