Mango Salmonella Outbreak

105 people in 16 states are sick with salmonella after eating Mexican mangoes. No deaths have occurred, but plenty of sickness has with 25 hospitalizations plus reports of stomach cramps, diarrhea, and fever.

Fibromyalgia patients, who often consume fresh fruits, are advised not to eat these mangoes and risk exposure to salmonella as well as worsening their fibromyalgia.

Splendid Products recalled the mangoes, which are sold under the brand name Daniella.
