A new method has been developed to help diagnose fibromyalgia. Specifically, this method uses biomarkers obtained from blood samples to differentiate between diagnoses of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and fibro.
A study by doctors at The Ohio State University, to be published in the August 21 issue of Analyst, examined the biomarker test and found it to be 100% accurate in differentiating Fibro patients from those with RA and OA.
