New Fibro Survey Wants to Improve Life for Fibromyalgia Patients

Fibro Daily February 13, 2013

According to fibro blogger Michelle Arbore, a new fibromyalgia survey asks that fibromyalgia patients participate and share the following self-reported aspects:

  • attitudes and perceptions of patients
  • quality of life
  • treatment effectiveness

The survey is part of a fibromyalgia research project by Duquesne University School of Pharmacy.

The goal of the project is to improve the quality of life for fibromyalgia patients as well as the treatment options. This survey offers a great opportunity to improve the way fibromyalgia is viewed and addressed, as so much has been written about the disregard that fibromyalgia patients often receive from doctors and society.
