Rural Vs. Urban Obesity Rates

Rural areas are more likely to suffer from obesity than urban ones, according to a new study.

The study shows that the amount of activity in both areas equates to about the same. However, people in rural areas tend to consume more fat calories.

Bigger meals and limited access to healthy foods in rural areas also factors into higher weights among rural populations.
