Fibromyalgia patients that take selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors should take heed of the risk to the fetus while attempting to get pregnant.

This means that if you suffer from depression as many fibromyalgia patients do, while at the same time attempting to get pregnant, these antidepressant should only be prescribed with great care, including extensive counseling.

Depression and infertility are often linked.
