Sleep Apnea Increases Risk of Stroke

Sleep apnea and fibromyalgia often go hand in hand. A new study now reveals that sleep apnea doubles the risk of stroke in people that suffer from it, which means that fibromyalgia patients should take note.

Many people that suffer from sleep apnea don’t even know they have it, so in order to prevent the risk of stroke there needs to be an improvement in the screening process for diagnosing sleep apnea.
