Stress Manangment Rare in Primary Care

Stress is a large reason for visits to primary care physicians, but only about three percent of patients receive help for it.

Most Americans report an increase in stress, but doctors are not talking much to patients about it.

This low percentage and avoidance of the subject reveal missed opportunities on the part of the physician to deal with sickness in relation to disease.
