The University of Washington’s Fibromyalgia Research Program seeks participants for its UW Fibromyalgia Study.
From their website:
This is a randomized study that involves the combination of a drug treatment, behavioral health treatments, and placebo controls. We plan to evaluate different combinations of these treatments for people with Fibromyalgia, to see which ones work best and for whom. Participation in the study will require 13 visits over a 15 week period with a follow up 6 months after treatment. Participants may be compensated up to $300 for the completion of the entire study.
Qualified participants may receive a comprehensive medical evaluation and a combination of pharmacological and behavioral health treatment. Individuals may be included in this study if they are fluent in English, have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, and currently have a primary healthcare provider. There are some additional requirements that may exclude you from the study. Please contact Caitlin at (206)221-1737 or email@example.com today to find out more about the study (we cannot guarantee the confidentiality of any information sent by e-mail).
The study provides a chance to earn while contributing to a cause that helps millions of fibromyalgia sufferers. It couldn’t hurt to find out if you qualify and also to spread the word.
