Dysautonomia is a term that covers auto-immune diseases that result in homeostasis. Homeostasis occurs because of problems with the autonomic nervous system (ANS.) The ANS controls balance, breathing, heart rate, digestion, and stress reactions, all things which fibromyalgia patients experience trouble.
