Fibromyalgia and Hypothyroidism

Patients with fibromyalgia are often diagnosed with hypothyroidism.

Hypothyroidism means an underactive thyroid. It’s common in women over 50, but can strike at any time. Hyperthyroidism does a total number on the body’s chemical balance.

However, the condition is easy to treat with medicine, though it may take a few tries to determine the right dosage.
