The symptoms of Vitamin B deficiency and fibromyalgia are often the same. Fatigue is the most common crossover symptom, but others include:
- balance problems
- tingling in the arms and legs
Fibromyalgia patients often show low levels of Vitamin B in their blood work results, so these crossover symptoms are not surprising. Vitamin B is found in eggs, fish, meat, milk, and poultry. It helps to regulate the central nervous system and the function of the metabolism, but simply increasing these products in the diet doesn’t result in curing fibromyalgia.
However, researchers hope that the clue to fibromyalgia lies in the study of these low Vitamin B levels.
