Bed: Get Comfortable

Fibro Daily October 1, 2012

Fibromyalgia hotspots make achieving comfort in bed—let alone sleep—difficult.

But there are ways to finally get quality shut-eye without waking up in pain caused by uncomfortable sleep positions and/or an uncomfortable bed.

Make sure to:

  • Invest in a quality mattress
  • Invest in a quality pillow(s)
  • Invest in quality sheets

The materials of these items can cause you to feel comfort or pain. That’s why you want to select ones that are well made. Things like the firmness of a mattress, the softness of a pillow, and the thread count of sheets allow for fibromyalgia patients to feel like their bed is an oasis.

Do some research about what’s out there in sleep products, and sweet dreams!
