The American Academy of Pediatrics suggest the following better sleep tips:
- Avoid alcohol for at least four hours before going to bed.
- Despite this study that advises otherwise, avoid intense exercise for at least two hours before bed.
- Avoid caffeine and spicy food at least four hours before bed.
- Turn off the TV and video games at least an hour before bed. And don’t start an argument in the hour before bed, either!
