It’s a bad fibro day when…
Actions that you normally do—such as letting the laptop cord dangle on your leg—causes extreme pain.
The way you usually rest by hugging a pillow for comfort now feels like you’re hugging glass shards.
Even a hot bath seems like it requires too much effort.
The best thing to do on these types of days is take the time to remember that it’s not going to last forever. Find something that brings you peace of mind, whether it’s turning off the lights and trying to sleep or vegging out in front of the TV. If you’re working, do some deep breathing and mark off the remaining time on a sheet of paper.
A positive outlook and relaxation are key to getting though bad fibro days.
