Having fibromyalgia often means having Fibro Fog.
Fibro Fog seems to stem from major two sources:
- The overwhelming exhaustion that accompanies fibromyalgia.
- Medications that cause drowsiness or an inability to focus.
Both are annoying. Who wants to spend their days in a haze?
If you are having trouble sleeping, consider a change to your routine that helps you sleep better. Try massage during the day that helps release tension and soreness, so you can find a more comfortable position in which to sleep.
If you feel like your medications are taking a toll on your brian, talk to your doctor about more natural ways to cope with the pain of fibromyalgia. Yoga and massage—again—are great pain reducers. Gentle exercise may also work out the soreness.
Take control of your treatments for pain, and you’ll take back control of your life.
