Being in school adds to the stress of fibromyalgia, especially when school involves a lot of paper writing and study. If one adds a job to the mix, the stress can be bad for anyone, but increases even more for fibromyalgia patients. That’s because of the lack of sleep and the amount of focus required to sustain such a schedule.
What seems to help most people is setting up a schedule that allows for some physicality without sacrificing school work or job. Even scheduling sleep.
