Tips for surviving the cold can really help fibromyalgia patients as well as those with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). Problems with the autonomic nervous system mean that fibromyalgia and CFS patients have a hard time regulating their temperature.

In most people, the blood flow will direct to the area of the body that is chilled. But in fibromyalgia and CFS, that doesn’t happen. Problems with the autonomic nervous system lead to problems with homeostasis which is what regulates body temperature, among other things.
