Take a break from fibromyalgia instead of letting it break you.
Yes, fibromyalgia is an ongoing condition that can’t be forgotten, but it shouldn’t dominate your life. You are a person with many needs and ideas, not just a fibromyalgia patient.
So don’t let, “I have fibromyalgia,” be the first thing you think of yourself. Otherwise, it will soon become an excuse not to have fun.
The fall’s here. Pumpkins, Halloween, apple cider… why not pack the car with goodies, a blanket, and your significant other, then drive somewhere to see the beautiful fall leaves? Spend the day outside catching up on fun times, letting the sun warm your bones.
Laugh. Love. Sneak a kiss. Or two.
These are all things you enjoyed before fibromyalgia.
Don’t think of yourself as a fibromyalgia patient having fun; think of yourself as a fun person who just happens to have fibromyalgia.
Make the break an extended one.
