Meta-analysis Shows Effectiveness of Aquatic Therapy

A meta-analysis of previous studies to evaluate the effectiveness of aquatic physical therapy as a treatment for fibromyalgia found statistically significant results in favor of the treatment, but found no conclusive data regarding it’s difference from other forms of treatment. The analysis looked at studies that lasted longer than twenty weeks, with three different groups:  the first group underwent aquatic therapy and no other treatment, the second group aquatic therapy and land-based exercises, and the third group.
