New Depression Treatment for Those Unaided by Conventional Treatments

Reports claims that 30% of patients with depression receive no help from conventional treatments, but a new treatment may offer them hope.

Called Magnetic Seizure Therapy (MST), it shares the same benefits provided by Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) without the traumatic side-effects to memory or the social stigma.

At this time, MST is only available in a few places, but there is hope that will expand.
