In the treatment of fibromyalgia, probiotics may be helpful for regulating digestive and yeast issues.

Though there has not been a clinical study to show the effects of probiotics on fibromyalgia, many doctors recognize the benefits of it from talking with patients as well as conducting exams.

In fibromyalgia, patients offer suffer from irritable bowel syndrome which seems to benefit from a stabilization of the intestinal flora. Stabilizing this intestinal flora also cuts down on yeast infection in women. Probiotics offer a great source of stabilization.

Another great source of probiotics is plain yogurt. Make sure it has no sugar or flavoring. It goes well with certain fruits and makes a great start to the day, or snack.

Besides serving as an excellent source of probiotics, yogurt serves as an excellent source of protein.
