Fibromyalgia Patient Paul Harrison Discusses Fibro Frustration

Fibro Daily November 25, 2012

Fibromyalgia patient Paul Harrison made this video over a year ago, but it still proves relevant to the frustration felt by fibromyalgia patients. Harrison talks about how invalidated he feels when visiting the doctor; how even friends and family fail to understand the pain and exhaustion he feels.

Mono was the traumatic event that set up Paul for fibromyalgia. It was first misdiagnosed as strep throat, but it was apparent he had a weak immune system.

Paul’s follow-up video to this one will be posted on Monday.
